ROLE : Menu design, merch design
Camillo is a Roman Italian restaurant in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Their menu is traditional Roman, and was one of the first in the city to make their own pinsa, an ancient type of Roman pizza.
Camillo doesn't do many special events or cocktail nights as it's more of a quiet, neighborhood place.
We did do some merch for the holidays, and for that I leaned into the Roman theme for this collegiate sweatshirt, which was their biggest seller.
I created the image in the middle depicting Janus, the two-faced Roman god of beginnings, transitions, and duality.
I also did some simpler designs using their original logo in a new way for t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats.
